About the Role
We are looking for a Scrum Master with Development Skills to support a key player in the public transportation sector. This role involves overseeing an Agile development team working on ticketing systems (backend, frontend, and e-commerce aspects). The team is responsible for incident management, functional enhancements, and major application migrations.
The position is a hybrid role, with 50% Scrum Master/Coordinator responsibilities and 50% hands-on development. The Scrum methodology is evolving towards a more flexible Scrumban approach.
Requirements
Scrum Master Responsibilities
Actively participate in quarterly planning and estimation exercises.
Plan, track, and manage the team’s work daily and sprint-by-sprint.
Ensure team predictability and delivery commitments ("Keep your promises").
Coordinate with the integration testing team and Release Manager.
Report incident follow-ups to the Service Manager.
Development Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve incidents.
Take on development tasks alongside the team.
Challenge and validate work estimations.
Assist in unblocking technical issues in collaboration with the Tech Lead/Senior Dev.
Skills Needed
Experience orchestrating development teams in Scrum or Kanban.
Experience combining Development and Scrum Master roles.
Strong technical background in:
C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server
Bitbucket, Jira, Visual Studio
JSON, XML
Experience working with Agile methodologies and managing run incidents, functional enhancements, and projects.
Fluent in French or Dutch and good working knowledge of English.
Skills Considered as a Plus
Experience with Ansible and deployment automation.
Knowledge of Scrumban methodologies.
