About the Role
A major player in the banking industry is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to drive Agile transformation and delivery excellence within a cross-functional squad. You will ensure that Agile methodologies are properly applied, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and help the team overcome obstacles while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The Scrum Master will work closely with business lines, stakeholders, and IT teams, acting as a servant leader to maximize project outcomes and ensure seamless collaboration within the squad.
Requirements
Skills Needed
8+ years of experience in a similar role
Scrum Master Certification
Strong Agile mindset and coaching experience
Expertise in Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Agile reporting and tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Knowledge of software development methodologies and project management frameworks
Understanding of automated unit testing, functional testing, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong stakeholder management & ability to remove blockers for the team
Skills Considered a Plus
Previous experience in banking or financial services
Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and governance
Experience working in large, complex Agile transformations
Bilingual proficiency in English and either French or Dutch
