About the Role
We are seeking a Tribe Test Engineer to join a dynamic team within the banking industry. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end testing process for features, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring quality delivery. The engineer will define test plans, align strategies with Agile squads, and foster continuous improvement in testing practices. This is a freelance opportunity starting in February 2025 for one year, with potential extensions.
Requirements
Skills Needed
Expertise in test techniques, levels, and functional/non-functional testing.
Strong knowledge of structured and risk-based testing.
Familiarity with software development life cycles and functional/application/infrastructure architectures.
Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., QC, Cucumber, Soap) and service virtualization.
Advanced coaching skills to guide teams in improving testing maturity.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage cross-functional collaboration.
Skills Considered as a Plus
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, TDD/BDD practices.
Ability to introduce best practices such as regression tests and continuous testing.
Fluency in Dutch or French is optional but beneficial.
